Prices on Outfits

I’m looking at the prices being charged, and I’m wondering whether you girls are being taken for a ride. I get clothes made from Pakistan and never spend 300 dollars on one formal outfit or thousands of dollars on something that would be close to bridal.

I know not everyone has relatives in Pakistan, and sometimes it is easier to get a lady who knows a karigar and can get a design done for you…

But can you share what you girls have been paying for:

  1. lawn jora

  2. semi-formal jora (tea party type stuff - simple cloth with light embroidery - nothing fancy)

  3. formal (Karma, HSY, type designs)

  4. Wedding lenghas/shararas/ghagras/gharaaras

Re: Prices on Outfits

it obviously would vary for every dress, all lawn joras can't be compared for example how wl u compare a gul-ahmed 2 say a moon lawn print?!...

but i guess, people can share pix of stuff they have bought online n tell how much they payed that wud be kool. i bet most get ripped.

Re: Prices on Outfits

few yrs back i got these lawn suits from a pakistan based home designer. they were no name lawns with no emb n still costed me 60 CAD with shipping. even if i buy from here through any vendor they sell from 60-80CAD ( again no names with simple laces). this time i bought sana safinaaz n Zunn suits ( emb ones)through proto n they costed me around 60-65CAD each without shipping. with shipping could hav been nearly 70-75. i find this one a much better deal.

Re: Prices on Outfits

I get most of my clothes made from Proto - I think the most ive paid for a formal is 7000 rps through her - and Ive paid around 30-45 dollars for casual wear!
