Am deciding between these three designers for my wedding - we’re doing one big function, so it makes it a little easier to get one outfit I really love (rather than two baraat/valima). I’m still in the early stages and will IA be flying to Pakistan to make appointments, but I’m having the hardest time deciding!

Elan - obviously so pricey, but does anyone have pics with an approx range of prices? They did a Karachi exhibition with bridals but I can’t find $$ amounts anywhere
Farah Talib Aziz - some of her bridals look Bunto-like, any ideas on prices?
Deena Rahman - the Shehrbano Taseer mehndi outfit and Rema Taseer mehndi outfit were gorgeous, any ideas how much her clothes cost?
Would appreciate any help!! Pictures with estimates would be so so helpful.

I've emailed FTA before, formals and bridals can vary between 2-4000 CAD.
I wish I knew more about Deena! Elan is going to be crazy expensive.

Like every bride I want Bunto/Elan but not always possible. My cousin is good friends with the Shahs, hoping that helps with the pricing a little but I don't want to waste time or make it awkward by asking if I know it's not any amount I can pay. Has anyone seen an Elan bridal with less work, for a lesser cost?

Élan'a latest collection Wild Romance is from Rs. 12 lakh to 22 lakh.
Deena Rahman is also very expensive. I enquired about the same mehndi outfit she made for Taseer's daughter and she quoted me 11 lakh. I asked a few kaam shops in Lahore and they quoted me 75k for it.
FTA is probably around the 4-5 lakh. You can email her FB page.

Hey. First question you need to ask yourself is what look you wanna go for? Traditional or contemperory? Élan, faraz manan, ammara khan , dee a have a very luxe mordernistic feel about their outfits in my opinion. Whereas bunto, dr.H, have that traditional feel to them. FTA I feel does both pastels and vibrant colours.embellishments very well.
So, do you have a mood board for the look you want to be carrying? Also, what budget are you looking at ? You can get a decent outfit by FTA starting at 4k whereas Élan will cost you around the double. So it's all in the numbers you see. Wish you well!

In truth, I love the cutwork that Elan does, and some of the embellishments, but I actually want a brighter color palette than they typically do - was thinking FTA can handle the brighter palette, but haven't seen enough of her bridals to see if she can manage that mix of modern/traditional with the bright colors but cutwork and some modern embellishment.

Has anyone ever gotten price quotes from Elan or FTA on specific outfits? So sorry to bump this, but have to plan a trip to Pakistan shortly and I want to know what I"m getting into.

I know FTA the bridals start from about 4 lacs but Elan it's hard to find anything under 7-8 lacs. A lot of the nicer outfits that i got quoted were at least 10 lacs which is insane

It really is too much. Khadijah is a good friend of my cousin's, so I was hoping for SOME lehaaz, but that's still really too high.
Perhaps can fulfill my dream by getting a Formal Elan for the Nikkah at home and doing FTA for the baraat. Would still be very happy with her, and have heard she's great to work with.

@cricfan14 did you ever end up ordering from either of the designers?
I enquired about an outfilt from elan and she is over the roof. I didn't want to order FTA since i have a few but may consider now. Sania M and Zara S, I have emialed too so waiting to hear back.
Any new brides who have ordered from these designers and can share their experience?

FTA bridals have gone up in price. We went to her last month and she said her bridals start at 6 lakhs. We got a lighter version for 5 Lakhs (Dhaka instead of farshi).

What is the color combo and work you going for?
Are you based in Pak or placing the order from abroad?

She works with your budget. Can be anywhere from 500000-120000K. You could try a bit lower but that would mean less work, i think.
