Hi all,
So my sis is getting married in August this year, and inshallah I’m going to be quite pregnant by then, almost close to delivery.
I need ideas for wedding outfits that won’t make me look like a whale. My best bet is a sari, and I would liek to get a good replica of this one:
Ther is an ebay seller offering a replica, but I can tell it’s a poor one, bad quality fabric and embroidery etc.
Any ideas who could do this and what the cost would be? My budget is not over EUR 150. I’m very pressed economically right now so can’t go over that.
Thanks!!
Re: Prices for replicating this desginer saree...
There are some other more experienced people here and they can correct me if I am wrong to suggest that for an as-is replica you might have to increase the budget. The work is quite detailed and almost across saree. Alternatively you can make changes in the saree so that it fits within your budget range.
I've sent you a PM suggesting the same too.

Thanks ED, I saw your message. I don’t mind if the kaam is lighter than the original sari. I just want good quality fabric and stitching used. The ebay seller’s sari was festooned with kaam and available within my budget, but to me it’s pointless if you’re going to use very cheap velvet and organza instead of chiffon:

Indian designers tend to use net more often and Pakistanis generally use chiffon. I think the original dress is net and velvet. The replica you mentinoned has used the same which isn't your preferred choice I noticed. I am not fan of their handwork though. A bit less but intricate might have been the way to go.
