I was qouted 3 lakhs for this by Karma a few months ago. They said it was due to the heavy Kora work (i'm not familiar with this kaam) all over.

It would look good with a gharara at the bottom instead of a lengha

thats pathetic for the price of a lengha :) Choti if your getting it made in pak then there are definatly some really good darzies who will make it less then that maybe in just a fraction of the price.

But 3 lakhs is way too much

dat designer guy sucks...who is gna buy his dresses in his country for 3 lakhs..half of the population dnt even gt hot food and fresh water....who is making theses dresses for..ppl living outside his country or wht....god helps these ppl seriously

^ theres a few extremely rich people who create a demand for clothing that expensive, in pakistan, and then there's rich pakistani's living abroad...
it doesn't make sense to us because we can't afford it, but neither does it make sense to pay $15000 for a Hermes handbag, but people in hollywood do it nonetheless.
its the same the world-over with luxury brands... they're only meant for the few. its part of their appeal.
the difference is, in pakistan, you can get anything knocked off for a reasonable price. which is awesome :)

yea ..showbiz world like bollywood or hollywood is jst totally different to our normal life.....!! we can afford these 3lakhs lehngas...well i can nt sure abt others....morgan shoes or chloe bags....but surely we cant afford all the time gucci channel...or selfridges....
i think these thngs only create class system...things like that shouldnt be sold in the society....because there is a reason behind it...if everyone is seen equal in the eyes of god than why the hell r ppl creating society or class themelseves??
