I wanna know one or two cups a day of chai (Tea) make ur baby growth in womb Is it true or wrong?

Nothing will happen to your baby if you drank two cups of tea per day.

I think caffeine is not good for baby!

Well of course chai has Caffeine! Tea and Coffee have a lot of it actually.

Dry tea only has about 3%-4% caffeine ( about 30 mg in a cup of 250cc depending on how it is made) and has less caffeine than coffee. Theobromine and theophylline are present in tea as stimulants too. Theophylline stimulates heart and causes faster or extra beat.

Doctors here say two cups of coffee a day is okay during pregnancy, and that's much stronger than tea. I had tea during pregnancy (tho not during my first trimester because I did not want it). 1-2 cups is probably fine, but it is of course best to drink water and juices.

lol! Wow. doctors here in texas say NO caffeine during your pregnancy. No coke tea coffee.. NOTHING.

First time ive ever heard of doctors allowing pregnant moms to drink coffee and tea! Wow.

Actually I have also heard about no caffeine during pregnancy but didn't say anything.

Like Sahar said, doctors DO allow 2 cups of coffee/tea per day. If you still don't feel comfortable then try to limit/avoid it!

I juss drink 1 cup a day and it's like milk and suger i just use chai paati to change da milk color.

My OB/GYN said 2 cups of coffee a day is okay, but I've cut back on my coffee a lot.... down to 1-2 cups a week.

It is alright to have some tea during pregnancy. No need to worry. Just relax.

If baby ‘kicks’ after that… just ignore, and say Thank God (Shukar Alhamd-u-lillah) baby is alive and ‘kicking’.

Don’t be surprised if baby asks for tea next day after birth.. :hehe:

You know what I never got any kick from my baby it's make me more upset last time my OB asked me about it and I said no I don't get any kick she said you will but now I'm 6 months pregnet haven't get any sometime but sometime I feel something moving in my stomache.

First of all, if your OB is not worried about it then you should not be.

Secondly, if you still worried then get a repeat ultrasound.

Lastly, your baby must be just circling...women do feel babies circling and that is not a bad thing by itself.

Just go to your OB or call...to confirm.

I used to let the teabag sit for 2 mins in a lil bit of water, threw away the taiz chai and then led myself to believe that reusing that same teabag had less caffeine.

I reused it right away!!
