ok ladies feel free to post an outfit, and then the list price so we can all comment on a few things:

rate the design of the outfit
would you pay that much for the outfit?

I figured I can’t be the only one to see an outfit, then see the price tag and say nooooooooo way lol i recently came across this one priced at $250

No I won’t pay that much for a saree. It’s gorgeous, but not super duper spectacular enough.

Ugh!! Pretty much everything I see is over-priced and more than I would pay.... especially since with most Desi outfits, you can only wear it once or twice for big occassions before it's been 'seen' or is out of fashion. :(

i haven't seen anyone with something like that here in texas.

also another poster mentioned it being an urban design it is, and i think paying $150 for that is still a bit much but a lot better than the designer's asking price.

well i seen this 1 and totalli fell in love with it…but for me i think prise wise its ok…£188…so nw av ordered it

i also fell in luv with this…but i think it shud b cheaper…this 1 is for £285

here is a pic of the copy that was made for $150 (i saved a pic bcuz i like it) anyways i think $ 150 is a very reasonable price for it.

Pretty decent copy, but the extra embriodary at the bottom spoils it a little. I prefer the ‘less is more’ style. Neckline stands out more on the original.

i live in houston texas and i wore the exact same outfit last year for eid..
oh i dont have the xtra kaam at the bottom--
but in the original design the kaam is there---

Rabia I love your copy! I actually like the embroidery on the bottom. I’m not a fan of embroidery only on top, nothing to compliment on the bottom.

Can you please tell me who did your copy?

^ i think someone else got that copy made from somewhere in liberty if i remember correctly. i think it was pink love but i may be wrong...
