sacha , Mac , and stageline all of them are good enough for asian skin and gave good coverage.

Meh, I'm part of the MUA MAC boycott. :-I I've never heard of stageline or sacha before!

Though, I did look them up. Sacha doesn't seem to offer much variety, but I do like how they're geared toward a specific audience. The palettes don't detail how much they include (ounce-wise). Do you use their cream palette?

yups dual active powder foundation and I use stageline ones also they are greatest

MACs mineralize powder - i started using powder because of the finish this gives me!

i love pur mineral preseeed powder foundation ...i can choose the coverage i want..and its spf 15 too (thats a plus for me)
even though its mnreal but as it comes in pressed form so i dont have to be as careful as with bare minerals ......

Im actually experimenting with powders right now...

Ive tried MAC's Studiofix to see if its something I like...I dont.

I tried their Sheer Pressed...nope.

I think Im going to go with Lancome...it seems perfect.

So I dont know the right thread to put this in but I came home to a huge nordstrom package a few hours back and I have to say .. Laura Mercier setting powder in "Star Dust" is out of this world!! The powder itself is just .. beautiful... and when applied it's even more perfect!! Amazing!!

I hate wearing powder cos I have dry skin, but I use MAC mineralised skinfinish to set my make up, but I want to try something else.

im using bare minerals.. it covers my acne marks and looks very natural. Although ive a feeeling it gives me clogged pores :(

I've never actually known what pressed powders are for and what compacts are for? Whats the difference?

Pressed powders come in compact form and are generally used for touch ups or for a certain finish...luminous, matte, shimmery, etc.

I use mine if I get shiny but thats about it.

Do they make you look powdery though? Are they supposed to be used all over the face or just for touch ups?

I recently got the Lancome Dual finish and i am in love with it. I usually wear it over my moisturizer and it makes my face really flawless, even tho my skin is a little on the dry side, but it doesnt accentuate any dryness, so i am really happy with it so far!! :)

I don’t need a lot of coverage so I just use CoverGirl’s Trublend pressed powder and really like it. :k:

If you use it right and are using the correct powder for your face, you shouldnt look powdery at all.

People generally use them with a brush, all over or for touch ups. Its upto you and the look you want to acheive.
