Perhaps PML(N) realized that they are not going to get enough seats from FATA to win chairmanship of senate and PPP will win the chairmanship so what did they do? Play the old tactics that NS masters in. Wohi changa-manga politics.
With democratic govt and parliament in place, Govt decided to issue the Presidential ordinance in the middle of night hour before voting starts. Because FATA’s election has been put on hold, there will be no election for chairman / d. chairman for unlimited time so even if this ordinance is struck down by court, Govt will get enough time to lure or arm twist FATA members to vote for them so they can win Senate seat.
Ager FATA ka election procedure itna hee bura tha then Govt had all the time in the world to fix it but they decided to do that hours before coz they realized they are going to lose.

i am sure pmln wants to win the chairmanship but let us not call the present election system in fata democratic. It is manipulated, unrepresentative and a real joke. The ordinance isn't great but is relatively superior in concept.
