America is our ally at the moment. So we can provide them support in some things and they support us in return.

Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don't dare attack Iran nuclear sites
lol, what a hypocrite. on one hand he supports american invasion on iran and on the other hand he dares isreal to do it.
and regarding pre-emptive strike , if he is against it then how come he is supporting america for attacking iraq.
good for india, if he attacks isreal.
btw he never mentioned how is he gonna stop isreal from doing it.
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don’t dare attack Iran nuclear sites
**“Musharraf has warned that Israel will have to face serious consequences” **
What will Busharraf do if Israel really attacked Iran? Say Pakistan first?
“it must be ready to face the music. !”
I suppose Busharraf will be the bandmaster playing Hava Nagila [Hebrew: Let us rejoice]
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don’t dare attack Iran nuclear sites
When did he support an American invasion? Please bring forward a report in which he states that, not some stupid “reports” written by biased parties who want to cause trouble between the two countries. Just remember how many “reports” in the last couple of years said he would send troops to Iraq, but he has point blank refused to do that. I find it highly amusing that Hindu’s feel so much pain at this news, but of course it is ever so predictable.
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don't dare attack Iran nuclear sites
America is our ally in some things and so is Iran. If America will ever plan an attack on Iran, our government and people will take some action accordingly, that is according to that particular circumstances.
As for Israel attacking Pak, it's just their dreams. The only reason for Israel's survival so far is their distance from Pakistan. If they still want to force a war on us, then it will only please the graveyard undertakers of Israel as they will be getting enough work.
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don’t dare attack Iran nuclear sites
i kind of agree with nikhil. Lets not be childish. Mush made those comments to cheer people like the guppies in this thread. He knows where Pakistan stands and so does israel. Threats have no power these days. Military is merely a deterent. Power lies in controlling business and commerce. Education is your strength. Pakistan is very weak indeed in that respect. Lets change that.
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don’t dare attack Iran nuclear sites
It depends. Israel has only a handful of planes with the range to hit Iran, let alone Pakistan. Israel’s missiles can hit Pakistan though, but Pakistan’s missiles can hit anywhere in Israel too.
The 24 hour theory doesn’t really fly due to a shortage of long-distance aircraft in Israel’s arsenal. And no country has been known to be brought to its knees by missile bombardment alone. The most they could do is hit a couple of Pakistan facilities and have their own hit.
But if they are using their missiles on Pakistani facilities, then they are not hitting Iranian ones…

Why any Pakistani and that too a president should give such statements, are we champion of Peace and stability in the entire world? I think we should mind our own business and concentrate on our own rather than teaching a lesson to Israel. We have already suffered a lot. We are just trying to make enemies and that's all. Such statement may be given to gain popularity but it will harm own country. If God forbid, Israel is attacking Iran then we should do whatever we can, because it will have its effect on Pakistan as well but before hand we should not give any such statement.
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don't dare attack Iran nuclear sites
pakistanis which country you like israel or india or name a country which you like most china?
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don't dare attack Iran nuclear sites
ppl can never be happy...when he talks of 'education, economics, peace and long term goal setting he's allegedly "not eradicating poverty quick enough", when he talks of peace and alliance against terrorism he's " a US puppet, a kafir and a dog" when he talks harsh and stands up to an oppressing murderous nation he's "a two timer, a double edged sword with empty words..."
face it guys, this is politics and the real world...not a workshop on ethics. men have to bend to goliaths because theyre not David, but they can show their teeth to those who they think they can bite and get away with it...we are not running the govt of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan because we cant, he is perhaps because God thought he could...
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don’t dare attack Iran nuclear sites
Haris- That is because he does not do what he says he will do. I would bring examples, but people would come up with some way of justifying them.
And to say he is there because God wants him to is going too far, even for a Mush supporter.
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don't dare attack Iran nuclear sites
A president should be above all such stupid things, he should do whatever is good for the country. And he has been doing that in the past. However, this statement I dont know, may some reasons
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don’t dare attack Iran nuclear sites
lets be honest, Israel with all its might and backing of US, couldnt finish off Palestinians resistance, Pakistan has all it takes to defend and attack Israel if it wishes a venture.
Specially Israel, whole nation from all sects in Pakistan will be united if they have to fight against Isreal.
and its not thought of punny Arab egyptians, syrian, or jordanian, its head of 6th largest country in the world with nukes and strong army and arsenal to reach it.
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don't dare attack Iran nuclear sites
All politicians do the same. Make cliams to fool some and please the rest, and then do whatever is necessary to do.
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don't dare attack Iran nuclear sites
Easiest trick in the book - call israel names, and boost popularity among simpletons. works every single time. suddenly, Musharraf is a "brave mujahid" and everyones hero.
meanwhile, everyone happily forgets that if anyone has been posturing aggressively against iran, it's been the US. and Musharraf himself granted airbases to americans and allowed american troops to operate on pakistani soil.
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don’t dare attack Iran nuclear sites
Exactly! Iran helped Pakistan militarily in the '65 and '71 wars, and we will never forget that, and the fact that it burns so many Indian’s up at the same is even more satisfying. Though they need to drop their hateful attitude towards Pakistan, becuase they desperately need energy supplies from Iran and the CAR’s that have to come through Pakistan.
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don’t dare attack Iran nuclear sites
..well, I seem to remember Japan being brought to its knees when we nuked their asses… after they committed all kinds of atrocities in China and the Phillipines I might add.
If Israel had been stating for 60 years that your country had no right to exist would you be satisfied to wait until after they nuked you before you did something? … or would you do something preemptively? It’s an important question for a small country like Israel.
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don't dare attack Iran nuclear sites
I am all out for acceptance of Israel by Pakistan (Musharraf!! Go with it).
We can learn a lot from them. We are not in very unfamiliar waters as they are in.
Re: President Musharraf tells Israel - Don't dare attack Iran nuclear sites
This statement has little significance. Pakistan won't retaliate if Iran is attacked. There's too much at stake. It's simply political rhetoric.
