What should President Musharraf do about his Chief Of Army Staff position?
1- Retire with immediate effect and remain solely as President
2- Should remain as COAS until August and then remain solely as President
3- Should stay as COAS indefinitely
4- Should stay as COAS for 2-3 years and then give up the position
Is the discussion allowed or the thread is for voting purpose only? Anyway, edit my comments if ya don't like. :p
What should Mush do? Let me ask you: Does he left any chance for anyone? Age 60 will be a good time for Mushy to retire from COAS post. He's gonna be 59 this August; therefore, I'm routing for Option 4.

Present President of Pakistan is an employe of an company just like many past dictators. He will be kept at his present position until company needs him.
I think the man should be left alone. He's governing very fine. In London addressing to Pakistanis he said he knows it isn't diplomatic of him of wearing two hats at the same time but when the time is right and when we have true democracy he'd take off his uniform (2 years time period was mentioned).
So I have no problem with President Musharraf's COAS position.
