President Musharraf addresses nation

Scotland Yard help requested from UK govt in BB murder probe. British PM Gordon Brown has accepted.

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

Finally a good decision ..... wish granted to Zardari & Co

I hope Scotland yard team can rest any and all controversies over the assassination of BB. Will Zardari allow the team to open the grave again and complete the autopsy (if required) ?

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

Alhamdulilallah. All we need now is an Autopsy to confirm whether BB was shot or not.

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

LOL, Musharraf is a fraud. First he embarasses himself by the lies put out by his government covering up the murder. Now, after all the time to destroy evidence leading to his people, Scotland Yard will do what?

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

Will CDA be responsible for washing the roads at accident site at 2AM on Friday morning, few hours after the assassination. Something is fishy.

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

less than 2 hours of the assasination brought in people to clean the entire mess, including washing the pavement where BB was shot.

btw, i thought the al-qeda did it, what happened now? :hehe:

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

I bet we will see some "fires" in govt buildings soon to destroy evidence. The doctors who did the first treatment better take life insurance or say their prayers.

This is not Al Qaida but Al Fayda, meaning who this killing was beneficial to.

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

The doctors might die of renal failure

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

Yup, also UK Foreign Secretary has already expressed confidence with Pakistani investigations.

Miliband: No reason to doubt claims

Britain has no reason to doubt the Pakistani government’s account of Benazir Bhutto’s assassination, Foreign Secretary David Miliband has insisted. Supporters of Ms Bhutto dispute claims that an “al Qaida” militant leader was behind Thursday’s attack, instead accusing the authorities of mounting a cover-up. The former prime minister was killed on Thursday when a suicide bomber first shot at her and then blew himself up as she left a rally ahead of elections due on January 8. Further anger has been sparked by official findings that the cause of death was not bullets or shrapnel but the blast forcing her head into a lever as she ducked back into her armoured vehicle. Mr Miliband welcomed the setting up of an inquiry into the circumstances - to be led by a high court judge selected with the approval of the Bhutto family. Speaking as he emerged from the Pakistan High Commission in London where he signed a book of condolence for Ms Bhutto, he said:** "We have followed carefully the reports from the Pakistani government and we have no evidence to contradict the reports that are coming out of Pakistan.** “Obviously it is very important that a full investigation does take place and has the confidence of all concerned. I have made clear to the acting primeminister of Pakistan, on the telephone, that the full resources of the British Government would be available if needed to help get to the bottom of this terrible tragedy.”

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

so now as Govt fulfill one demand "main-na-manoon group" is coming out with lame excuses !!!

as they say, you can never satisfy "main-na-manoon group" :)

Did Lebanese govt kept the scene of assassination of Harari "AS IS" for 6 months becasue it was more than 6 months after the assassination that UN started the investigation. Did UN investigation team said "we cant do anything now as scene has been cleaned" ?

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

lol I wonder which reports he is talking about, the ones issued before that ‘video’ came out or the ones after? :hehe:

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

Very bad decision. This may finish the controversy, and then we wont have anything to talk about :(
I just hope that the investigation team is bought by ISI like everyone else. That will be more fun.
On a serious note, its just funny how everyone who was complaining before that Musharraf has something to hide and that is why he is not allowing foriegn investigators, still find something to complain about.

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

LOL Mushy is sucha clown. Pakistan is a joke on the worldwide stage a Banana Repbulic with a 3rd world tin pot despot as a leader.
Imagine a country where it is openly hypothesized that the President was involved in the murder\assasination of a major opposition figure. What a sad and pathetic joke. The man is a disgrace.

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

Yes u are right. Blood on the streets was the only evidence left, and without that the investigation team will not be able to do anything. Damn these ISI people are smart. I mean, just erasing all evidence by washing off the blood. who could have thought about that?

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

and how does all this crap relates to the topic of this discussion? please enlighten us :)

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

It is directly related. He is talking about Mush and the assassination, which is the topic of this thread

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

Expolsive residue, the gun itself, bodies, etc.

No investigation in any competent country starts after the evidence has been washed away

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

and I thought that topic was " President Musharraf addresses nation" and we are going to discuss what he said in the address instead of copy-pasting from "\shared\main-na-manoon-group\mush-bashing-treasure"

my mistake ! :)

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

Wrong!

Sometimes, you take the pics of the scene, make movie, collect the evidence and complete the investigation afterwards. If its not a normal practice its not that rare either !

Normally scene is kept "AS IS" if answers to "how the person was assassinated" , "how the murderer got access to the victim" etc are not known. In this case we all know that. Its more of the matter of who ordered it and who executed it rather than "how"

Re: President Musharraf addresses nation

Explosive residue : everyone knows there was an explosion. I am sure some sample was collected. Even if not, the govt already mentioned what explosives were used.
Gun: there are a couple of videos that show that there wereshots fired. The angle is pretty clear as well. Due to explosion, we dont know how far the gun fell. It is irrelavant where the gun was.
Bodies: rawalpindi would smell and look really good if the carnage was left there for a few weeks.

I think the investigation is more related to who the person who fired and the person that expoded the bomb belonged too. As far as how she died, there is only one solution, that is to open up the grave. will mr 10% allow that for goras??
