*George Bush has never had a reputation as a bookworm, but for a man derided by his critics as an intellectual lightweight the president’s holiday reading list packs a punch. *
As well as brush cutting, mountain biking and fishing, the president will also be tucking into Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlansky during his five-week summer sojourn on his Texas ranch. The other tomes are reported to be Alexander II: the Last Great Tsar by Edvard Radzinsky and The Great Influenza: The Epic Story of the Deadliest Plague in History by John M Barry.
I want pictures and an audiotape before I believe this......
This quote from Laura says it all: "George and I were just meant to be ... I was the librarian who spent 12 hours a day in the library, yet somehow I met George."
she was taking the dog for a walk when she saw a man trying to balance the bicycle and fell down as he got close to her, when she helped him get up, she saw George Bush… this is how they met.
haha....the funniest part about all the stupid jokes is that the guy is a Yale graduate with a Harvard MBA, a self-made multi-millionaire, and the most powerful man in the universe.
who cares if he makes up his own words or doesn't know who the president of Paraguay is....he is still smarter than you
Who said Bush is an idiot? The man is pretty damn smart even if he can't talk. He is not puppet far from it. Look at his political career in Texas. He is a bloody good politician.
Nah see i would have agreed with you back when Bush started off his first year. But then i look at what PNAC has written in its manifesto and damn it Bush is actually a briliant man. He is making sure the US remains the dominant power for the next 50 years. The Bush policy is 100% external and based on security and world domination. The next regime can take the domestic stuff.
there are literally millions of people in the US that had/have wealthier parents and/or better connections, yet haven’t achieved any of the 4 accomplishments i listed…so give credit where credit is due.
lol, if Bill Clinton adopted you and got you into some Ivy League schools…i think it would be safe to say that you would a) fail out of said schools, b) never make such a fortune, c) not become the most powerful (hu)man on earth.
he is more like Nawaz Sharif (in 2nd round?) when people thought he was dumber (than 1st round), but actually he was surrounded by mean/selfish people, similarly its not all Bush doing this “great” stuff.
Hmmmmm... you know, that actually is hysterical coming from you to her... I know I work currently in Ivy and Daisy is definitely a few steps beyond me... makes the irony richer... especially when some assume they know about others without actually knowing them...
Stick to topic and try not to actually think beyond that... especially if it includes personal insults...k?
Edit: Daisy... very nice and here I was thinking I needed his head when you already had it... my bad
