I thought he would acknowledge that we destroyed a country (Iraq) and helped in Palestinians’ massacre. I thought he would acknowledge his contribution to mutiny in Syria. I thought he would say after trillions of dollars and thousands of deaths later, we are going to leave Afghanistan as vulnerable as ever before. I thought he would say we poke our nose into everything under the sun and leave behind a trail of devastation once we are done.

now, the US administration at the highest level has admitted torturing 9/11 suspects, the flood gates will be open to sue the US for damages by all the victims. high profile lawyers will now be running up N down preparing 'class action law suits' against the government.
the victims in a way have hit the jackpot...not that any amount will ever lessen their horrible experiences, pains and humiliations, financial compensation will at least give them some closure and a sense of justice.
the perpetrators of those crimes should be brought to justoce with no impunity from prosecution if the US wants to fair well in the eyes of it's victims.
