I would do experience presents. We do that with our son rather than getting him stuff coz he has stuff available to him all year around.
Childrens theatre, skating, boating, aquarium, these kind of things with no rush to go do something else
Be prepared to never hear the end of it. You know a kid lived something when even after weeks they can’t stop talking about it. Reha, do take lots of pics and make custom photo books so the kids can relive that day.
We now take our kids to places where they can lead us, we let the older one tell us which way we should head in the zoo and if he likes a certain area we stay there as long as possible so he can get his hearts fill. Makes for some real good times.
