Writing an essay. You can't screw it up since you can read over and over again, fixing mistakes.

Presentations! No question about it !

  • It takes lesser time to put together… you can bullet points and a variety of visual aids to convey your ideas.

    • Takes much lesser effort in wowing your audience because you have a whole bunch of built-in and bolt-on animation tools and your own level of expertise determines the sophistication of your presentation.
    • It’s easier to customize the flow of slideware to reflect your own thought process rather than adhering to a prescribed format of reports and papers.

  • Lastly, you can receive instant feedback on your ideas.

This is why in academia, we typically begin by symposiums and conference presentations and then move on to more elaborate publications in the form of journal articles etc.

Presentation, less time to prepare, less writing and more interactive way of expressing yourself and get the feedback there and then. will also get feedback from many people instead of 1 in case of writing essay.
