I have a bottle that the doctor gave me last year but I have been so bad in taking them…never regular at all… my question is, are they still good? I did check the expiration date but I just wnat to make sure… Also, are all prenatal vits the same? I saw some at Target that were all really different prices (like $10 to $40).

My OB/GYN said they're all good, the cheap ones as well as the expensive ones.... as long as you're getting the basic vitamins needed, you're good..... the rest is fancy stuff, marketing stuff.... no scientific proof an expensive brand with more vitamins would benefit the fetus more than the basic ones.

yup. just make sure to take them regularly for the folic acid more than anything else- its very important to have a good store of folic acid in your system before getting pregnant.
