As for your last line, ***there are many women who mis-use these terms and blow out of proportion matters. ***Don’t have to look far for examples. How many times in life1 has raising your voice to a woman been called abuse (to name one example).

I think what is quite tragic about this is that “abuse” gets thrown around so casually sometimes, such as to describe mere verbal arguments or raising one’s voice, that it trivialises abuse and then genuine victims of abuse don’t get taken seriously.
