In a country of 300 million, short of absolute mind control, you are going to have these incidents.
But readers need to separate "scattered instance" from a "trend". As Amelie points out, the trend is towards more tolerance of Muslims not less. If this became a trend, or if the police failed to act, then I would be alarmed. Just because outbursts of hate are not published in papers in Muslim countries, it doe not mean it does not happen, just that it has not been reported to the police or published. The circumstances are not equivalent.
And, for the record, I think CAIRs "statistics" are highly flawed and inflated.

It is a sad incident. Just like UK has decided to “deport” hate-spreaders, US should also make it a crime to spread hatred be it done by Muslims or Christians (i.e. Michael Savage?)

funny though, when few muslims do something wrong, the whole race/nation is blamed for it. if few goras do something wrong, it is not generalized the same way. sad.

Who are u to say that these 3 guys define all Americans? That's a bit off and unfounded and merely based on your perception of Americans. If it was that bad here, muslims would all be making a bee-line to run away. The ones who ran away - did so right after 9/11 and they were illegal for the most part - they knew they'd be deported. But very few american citizens ran away - the fact that we stood our ground shows that these incidents are very isolated in the states.
If you think this is common, then the burden is on you to produce statistics.

See MQ - regardless of whether you intended it or not - discussions on these type of stories always end up being about how horrible Americans are towards muslims. The very people here in this thread who are complaining about Americans are the same ones that are doing very little to get rid of what little (notice "little" ) negative behavior there is towards muslims in the country.
