becoming pregnant isn’t a guarantee, sans protection. in fact, its far from a guarantee. if you look into exactly how many things need to line up perfectly in order for you to get pregnant at all, its actually a miracle she had unprotected sex once and conceived!
plus, protection can fail too. condoms can tear, you can miss taking the pill once, i’ve even known people who’ve conceived with IUD’s.
