hey guys just wantd to add sumting my sis in law is pregnant for th 4th time yeh thing is, she onli realised cuz she missed her monthly ting....so she took a test and it was negative so she left it...then she missed her monthly ting again then she went to the doctors and she did a test it was negative......buh in the end she took a blood test thats how she found out other wise she had no clue wats so ever that she was pregnant......does this happen to most of the women.....she had no sickness wat so ever............has this happended to anyone else

Those of you not having any nausea/morning sickness please be very very happy. In all my pregnancies my nausea started at week 5 and lasted thru the whole pregnancy. Kept me extremly miserable.

guys i am seriously worried, I did 2 pregnancy test one at home and one at a clinic i went to as I was having pains/cramps on the left side and both came out negative, I am having regular periods but my stomach is getting bigger and bigger and I feel some movements in my stomach (especially at night) and I know how it feels when a baby is moving in your stomach and its quite the same... I dont know whats wrong with me, I have a minor infection in my bladder for that i am taking some medicine, I told the doc about the movements she didnt take it seriously and said I will fine after I take the medicine for the infections. I am really worried and confused I really dont like this stage and not really knowing what is happening with my body, can someone experience like Mamaof3 advice me.
can they not do a scan to see whats going on. why is it sometimes these doctors just dont take any notice of what u try to say. be persistent.
met my midwife this morning and she checked for the heartbeat of the baby and i heard it. its the first time ive heard anything. i cant believe how exciting it can be. its made my day. it was so fast and i can still hear it ringin in my ears. Got scan tomorrow so will be seeing it for the first time tomorrow. its been a great week.
awwww so sweettt....lately everytime i see babies or mummys 2 be..i feel very broody......they so cute......and when you talk to the mother-2b they say its the weirdest 9 months but its worth it when u see ur baby forth frst time.......is it true once ur married u get more broody......i want kids now...:)
before i was married i was broody, once i got married i wasnt anymore. haha. now im pregnant i always notice babies looking and smiling at me and its made me broody again... good job it has
Went to my normal praticionar right now, just came back and well it was some other younger doc there and she said oh wait some more and see if it happens if you eat something, that u shouldn’t have she lacked of experience so I didnt persistent, no use.
I called my gyno today and well she at last gave me a date for routine examing, will have to wait till 11.11 and till then wait and wait and see what is happening with me, my tummy is so big that I have having difficulties closing the zip of my trousers and I dont wanna go to work looking like this and I dont even know if its good that I start exercising or dieting.
Saadia, yes be persistent with your docs....thats the best thing to do. In the meantime, try not to worry...the medicine for bladder infection should clear up the pain in your side - thats where your kidney is and its probably suffering from the infection too. And the medicine also can cause GI upset, bloating, constipation, gas. Those things COULD explain your troubles but like Ruby said, keep on being persistent with your docs to make sure.

so worried about it. my aunt had it and it was so bad. she had to attend clinics every 2nd week, check three times daily (i hate needles) and had to control by diet and exercise.

anyone whose 2 hour test came back negative?
Mine came out positive but they said I was borderline. However, since it's my first pregnancy they put me in high risk. Now I have to check 4 times a day and I have to get NST done every week. Now that I am past 36 weeks I am basically seeing the doctor twice a week because I am high risk. I hate doing this because when I check my sugar it always comes back normal. Just because of one positive test I have to go through all this but better safe than sorry!

cutiepies, I am at high risk even if i am not pregnant. thats why i had three tests. first was negative and 2nd positive. and got 3rd done and dont know result yet. i am nearly 29 weeks now.
had my first scan yesterday. it was surreal. saw the head, arms flying in the air, and legs. didnt last long enuf though :(
anyway, got my pic and the silly woman only took one and its not even clear enuf. all u can see is the head and the body, not the arms, or legs which got me really worried and now i dont want to show it to anyone cos they'l just comment. as the baby was moving around alot do u think thats why the pix come out like that. my husband said he saw the legs kicking up but i was too busy lookin at the face and hands i didnt notice legs. but i remember the woman said there's the legs and theres this and that.
Ruby, this worrying part never goes away i think. Its part of the being a parent package. I am sure the tech took way more pics but only gave you one. In the US, the radiologist looks at the scan pics and then sends a report to your doc. So maybe in a couple of days you can call and ask your doc if everything was allright with the baby which InshaAllah it is, but just to ease your mind?
Btw did she tell you the heart rate? :D Maybe we can start predicting what you are having based on that? :D
well after the scan i saw a midwife and a consultant and they all said everythin looks fine. think its just me worrying. they have a lot more experience dont they.
no she didnt tell me the heart rate, although i heard it myself, it was just quite fast.
is it actually possible to tell what ur havin with the heart rate. before the scan my gut feelin told me its a girl, but after seein the scan, thats all changed and it just felt like its a boy, dont know why. think its cos the hands were up and down and seemed like a active boy. huh only Allah knows.
just hope everythin is fine and its healthy. cant ask for more than that. InshAllah
There is a myth/rumor that girls have higher heart beats and boys have lower ones. Ofcourse its proven wrong for a lot of ppl but for a lot it works. Its just a fun guessing game, thats all!

awwww.. thats how my first scanning was too.. ure just too in awe to hear what the technician is telling u with the details on hearbeat rate or pointing to diff body parts.. i just couldnt get over how a seed had taken on a human shape and was in my belly.. was puny yet had all its ligaments and joints… crazy…
i dont worry at all about my child being healthy or if its organs are functioning etc… i just havent thought bout any of that stuff… just somehow believe that it cant be any other way… talk bout being in khush fehmi eh
ira: ive heard the opp.. that if its a fast heart beat then its a boy and if its slow then its a girl… im gonna leave it to the scanning no one has been able to predict from my stomach yet and im sooooo glad! i hate hte pointing to body part and talkin bout it.. u want me ot point to ure crotch and say.. oh are u looking for the washroom? when asked where the toilet is.. aye kahi se..
