I have Sex in the City going on in the background, and one of the characters claims that there is only a 30 percent chance of conceiving after 30.

I hope that is not true. My SIL has had two babies in the past 3 years. Her first one was at the age of 30 mashallah.

No yaar. Alot of women conceive even after 35 and 40.

I’ve never heard that stat before..20-35 is an acceptable time period..after after 30 the chances of abnormalities increase and after 35 the chances of successful conception drop significantly.

Women can conceive till they hit menopause. However as Zakk said after 35 there are higher risks of developmental problems and risks of Down Syndrome etc increases- but that doesnt mean women 35 plus dont have children.
