Pregnancy related Nausea

Please please tell me there is a cure for it.
I have an extreme case of nausea and I am sooooooooo
soooooooooooooooooo miserable.

I even got a medicine from my doc which helps a bit during the day
but for whatever odd reason it doesn’t do a thing at night and
the nausea just gets really realllllyyyyyyyyy bad.

I throw up several times and the nausea is still there after I have vomitted.
Has anyone experienced this?
Is there a way to control it?

On a scale of 1-10 I think I would put it as a 50.
Yes that’s how bad it is.
Any feed back would be much appreciated.

Re: Pregnancy related Nausea

you'll be glad to know that it usually only happens in the first tri-mester of pregnancy. theres usually a reluctance to treat first trimester morning sickness. Thalidomide which was used in 1956 caused 12,000 babies in europe to be born with developmental abnormalities
however, if its later on in pregnancy, you'll probably need to go to the hospital to get some fluid and electrolyte replacement (Promethazine may have some benefit)

there are a few medicines available but its best to check with ur doctor first cuz they may not be recommended in pregnancy)

this is me talking from a pharmacist point of view.....not from expericence! so maybe the experienced mothers will be able to offer you some more advice :)

Try eating crackers. And also if you can find some ginger gummies or candy. That also helps.
