I think I really need one of these. Did anyone get one of these and does it help for aches and pains?
Re: Pregnancy pillow
I honestly always wanted one,
but I did not want to spend that much money on it.
So i invested in a body pillow instead ($8 vs $70) and I LOVE IT
I sleep with it between my legs and it’s just amazing, sometimes i’ll even used it to rest my back against for when i can’t sleep on my side anymore. I would start with that, worst comes to worst - it’ll just be like having an extra pillow around!
Re: Pregnancy pillow
Yes they are quite expensive. Is the body pillow just the long one? I’ve seen them going for about $8 on gumtree (second hand stuff) and have contacted some people.
So when you get bigger you can’t sleep on your side anymore?
Can you show me an example of yours please?

Room Essentials® Body Pillow : Target
This is the one I bought, it’s just a long pillow.
It’s getting harder now to sleep , period lol. I find myself turning and twisting all night long, they say its best to sleep on your left side when you are expecting - but its not very realistic , i find that i get tired of staying on one side…so i just put the pillow under my back and just stay like that…coz even to switch sides sometimes is a mission haha
Re: Pregnancy pillow
Yes I know about sleeping on left side - my husband is constantly waking me up to turn over to my side if I’m on my back or something ![]()
But with the burgeoning discomfort, it really isn’t realistic like you say.
Oh wow that’s pretty cool and only $8 for a brand new one. Thanks a lot for your advice!
Re: Pregnancy pillow
lol earlier on in my pregnancy, my hubby would push me to my left side if i was on my back..haha it was the cutest thing ever
no problem!

The one I’m looking at is horsehoe shaped - do you think this will work? Snuggle Time Body Comfort Pillow « Baby City
Re: Pregnancy pillow
I have been using the ‘nursing pillow’ same one for the past 4.5 years right before the start and it worked great for me…and after when the baby was here I used it obviously at the feeding times…It came in a set of two slanted weges thingies for the feet, but never really got much use out of those and in my pregnency I would just keep it between my kness for extra support and the wedges at the back…It is sort of ripping apart now and righfully so ![]()
Re: Pregnancy pillow
Yup,that will do the trick too. because it has that curve so you can put it between your legs. a lot of people i know purchased it and loved it
