So one of my friends is preggo with her first baby…and I am thinking of getting her a pregnancy journal.
Is that a good idea?
Did anybody use one? Do you still have it?
Which ones did you find to be the bestest?

Re: Pregnancy Journal
I don’t know…I feel too tired or lazy to even reply to text messages, if it was me I would turn that journal into my son’s coloring book. My sister gifted me a dairy when my son was a baby. Now it is his coloring dairy.
However, not every pregnant woman is lazy or/and 24/7 tired like myself.
Re: Pregnancy Journal
^ hahahah yep.. Get her pregnancy massage!
Re: Pregnancy Journal
Are you guys serious?! They’re soooo pretty and cute though!
Okay…I think its time to switch gifts!
Re: Pregnancy Journal
Is pregnancy journal the same as a baby book?
As a first time mom I enjoyed writing randomness in it.
Now that the kid is able to read he thought it was fun to read it with me ![]()
Re: Pregnancy Journal
never heard of a pregnancy journal. i think a pregnancy book might be a good idea if she doesn’t already have one.
Re: Pregnancy Journal
I took notes on my laptop when I remembered too. Too tired for handwriting. I second massage or maid service!
Re: Pregnancy Journal
I have never heard of a Pregnancy Journal. Is it a book in which you jot down thoughts, and pictures etc.?
I would say it all depends on what type of pregnant chick your friend is. There are the pregnant chicks that LOVE being pregnant and record everything like pictures of their bumps week by week, and post regular updates on fb (including ultrasound photos) regarding their pregnancies and maybe even keep blogs to record how things are going.
Then there are pregnant chicks like me who are too tired and lazy and quite frankly don’t care to do any of the above and more clinical about the whole pregnancy experience. I personally would not have used one but it just depends on what type of person your friend is.
I do agree with others about the pregnancy massage. Every pregnant chick can appreciate that!
Re: Pregnancy Journal
I got a pregnancy book and I remember jotting down stuff after the girls were born so yeah, to someone like me the idea is so romantically exciting and thrilling but yea.. just the idea. I second the massage or a baby memory box. Now those I love. Less work and a post it note describing the contents.
Re: Pregnancy Journal
I got myself one very cute one way back, where you can even save the baby’s first hair cut in the attached pocket. Well lets just say I never got around to finishing it ![]()
Maybe I can complete it with the kids now, I could squeeze all their baby pictures in there, could be a fun summer project ![]()
