Fasting during pregnancy is a really bad idea, you dont need a certified MD to tell you that.
What "people" think about it shouldnt really matter, yeah?
Anyway, while we're on the subject, it can be a wise thing to use common sense rather than MDs for questions like this. I mean, some of the MDs I've encountered over there dont even know about blood-type mismatch - which is taught in OB/Gyn 101. Mom's blood type is "negative", baby's blood type is "positive". Thats usually within the first couple of questions asked when pregnancy is confirmed. Eliminating that simple question can threaten the life of a newborn and it happens frequently over there.
Nothing wrong with seeking the opinions of others but really, let common sense prevail, esp when its the life and well-being of a new life thats in question.

umm...don't want to scare anyone, but i knew this lady, back when i was young. she had a bunch of kids, well 3, all the same ages as me and my brother. wel teh first 2 anyways. but i don't know what was wrong with the lady, because when she was pregnant, i guess she felt fat or whatever, and decided to diet. as a consequence, one of her sons was mentally challenged (he died when he was just 6 or 7), her daughter had a hole in her heart, and her other son, while as far as i can remember was not physically challenged, did have a tendency to speak really, really loud. (something psychological?).

I didnt fast when I was pregnant the first time, and I am not fasting these days because I am breastfeeding.

She worked fulltime.. cooked, cleaned and did all the regular chores around hte house. i think she was in either seventh or eighth month… She was very active during her pregnancy

I agree with angel eyes, dont put yourself through it when you have the convinience of not fasting espeically if you know the babys health might be at risk.

^ That seems very judgemental. Most mothers-to-be (and I'm certain Sadzz is one of them) want the best for their kids and are ready to make sacrifices to help their children. I certainly agree with your statement, but the tone is unfair and inappropriate, given the context.
