I’m a blue fan, it just gives me the feel of a pen. I was told by a girl today that I should use a black pen when signing documents and I responded saying, “Say’s who?!” She said it’s normal for people to sign with black. Me being a guy I didn’t want to argue of course because we know where that will go but does it really matter?!

it depends on how much control I have.
if its like two options at a meeting or conference I will pick black
if Its my own pen and I have control on what type of refill or ink I use, it is not black. especially for fountain pens.
The challenge is that the generic blues out there are too light/bright and i hate them, i like a deeper blue, or a blue-black, whether its tried and tested inks from Parker Quink, or Shaeffer Skrip, or the harder to find ones like Duponts night blue or My fav was Parker's peman sapphire.

I prefer dark blue when writing. I always use my own Cartier pen when in shops/banks.... never use the pen provided, imagine how many people touch those pens.. so many germs...yerrchhh.

I like indigo coloured ink pens. I love fountain pens and prefer black ink for more formal documents.

and who cares what colour ink, so long the pen is good quality. However, no pinks, purples, greens and oranges for me, thanks.

and its not just that for official documents you dont know what tpe of ink is there, and contrary to popular belief the right fountain pen ink is much more permanent than ballpoint inks out there.
and someone can say who cares about a pen quality as long s it can write

Blue, my handwriting looks better. I always feel like im filling in a form if I use black. On a daily basis I use glitter pens, everything I write looks good that way!

I also think like that and I dont like when Im behaving like this but I cant hold myself. I will also use my pen in future!
