I also heard about a possible tsunami in Karachi or more specificaly Arabian sea around november time. Maybe just a rumor. I ould certainly like to hope so.
Regarding earthquake fault or plate, anyone who lives or lived in Gulistan-e-Jauhar will or should know that Karachi university student carried out a survey in collaboration with meteoriliogical stff in around early nineties and their recommendations included that this area should not have multistoried buildings and guess what, wahan flats hee flats bharay paray hain.

Long term prediction of earthquakes and tsunamis is not possible as of now....

Tsunamis cannot be predicted but once an earthquake has taken place, sensors set in the ocean can warn of forthcoming tsunami.

KARACHI: Tremors felt in Defence and Clifton

KARACHI: Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister on Information and Archives Salahuddin Haider late Tuesday night said that Defence View and Clifton experienced tremors of light intensity.
He appealed to the masses not be afraid of these tremors and remain calm.

As far as i know, there is no way anyone can predict earthquakes.... Its still one of the unsolved mystries.
