Yeah there are chances. The irony is that Aussies are the best team in the world and they have not lose any match for God knows how long, but the pundits have predicted (see the other ICCT thread) that kiwis will beat aussies. There are two main reasons, kiwis have some best allrounders in the world in their squad, also they play ODIs with such a thrill that a saturated team (even world's best) can be surpised on their day. Secondly Aussies have some out of form players due to that they were close to defeat in last two games. Bowling ain't impressive as well.
Besides, traditionally ICCT has been a forbidden fruit for Aussies.

but smooth_guy, i have some disagremments with u..
1) having the best allrounders in the world dont win u matches...its the specialist bastmen and bowlers who seize the moments...
2) aussies are not out of form...it was just that the paki bowling was too good for them...and i really dont think that kiwis bowlers have anything special under their sleeves...
I certainly hope that NZ beat Aust, but it's too good to be true. history might not repeat itself this year. But let's see.

Onee reason why I think New Zealand will beat the Aussies is that their mental strenght is right there next to Australia. They play with no fear unlike Pakistan as we saw in the last two outings between Pak and Aus. We had both of the matches and then our mental capabilities(or lack thereof) took over our batting capabilities. I hope S. Fleming will play a big role in the Kiwis close victory just like he did against S. Africa in WC 2003.

NZL may not have exciting bowlers but they are a very disciplined decent attack. Bowling attack of Tuffy,Oram, Vettori & Harris are as good as any bowling attacks in ODI these days.
