pre-wedding palava

Re: pre-wedding palava

is that good or bad? :bummer:

Is your fiance’s family very “traditional” and experienced in this type of stuff? Because if not (and even if they are :p) I think mithai should be the safest/best to do…Also, personally, we really didn’t really “do” anything.. our families only met once and that was for the baat-pakki..After the engagement my parents distributed mithai to all our acquaintances and relatives. there was nothin special held or done once the date was set or when parents went out to give the invites, for the very reason that we were all spread out across 4 different countries, so all our planning was done over the phone. Uhm it really does depend on teh family if htey’re very traditional or not.. I say just act as if you would if it were another dinner wiht the future in-laws, dress up incely, proper dinner and of course mithai..

And btw, what is “palava” ? :konfused:
