I thought it was the opposite. That as soon as a girl gets engaged and is about to get married soon, you always see her looking more fashionable and well put together than before… they start wearing makeup, more flashy clothes and jewelry, no?

i agree with you! before i was engaged i didnt wear designer outfits or real gold at all…very little at lyk peoples weddings but now that im engaged i go dressed up everywhere. With gold makeup and designer outfits all the time. A month before my wedding i plan on not wearing any makeup at all. So that way theres that sad-gi that the other guppans were talking about
