Re: Pre-School VS Montessori
Here are my views, personal opinions:
- Monetssori: Very expensive, can’t justify spending so much money when I compare Montessori-going kids with non-Montessori going kids. Haven’t seen any significant difference so far.
- Public: As long as you live in a good district with good ratings, your kid will learn well, be competitive, be challenged. The key here is “good ratings and Good teachers.” SO you have to do your homework well.
- Islamic: If your kid has the opportunity to attend an after-school Islamic program, I’d prefer that.
- Home Schooling: Hats off to parents who do that, but I’d like my kids to be working with other kids as well. They need to fall and learn to get up and move on.
Again, these are just my personal experiences and observations.
