How much did you interact with your in-laws before marriage? Was it expected that you’d call them up and say hello? Or did you keep your mouth shut? Is it customary for the families to ring each other up and visit each other before marriage?

A lot. Not much was expected from me, I did it because it made someone else happy hence also me

I had a very unusual engagement phase tho.
