Don’t blame everything on bollywood… what about the pareeyon/shehzaadon ki kahaaniyan the grandmothers/aunts used to tell us when we were kids?
Why can’t men get it into their heads that women want a little bit of romance after marriage, its not all about sex & food (which is all that men seem to care about). Why can’t a husband be a little sweet to his wife initially when she’s trying to adjust in a new environment, plus also feeling insecure as she has left all her loved ones behind. Its not easy leaving your home to go live with strangers :no:
Men should be counseled on how to treat wives the first few months of marriage … and wives on how to build up understanding and mutual respect, instead of focusing on “me, me, me”.
