I was wondering if one of u kind souls could explain me in details how to perform tahajjud prayer?
I read that one should pray it in the 3rd part of the Night, when is that? Plus how much time Before fajr can u pray it? Say for instance fajr is 4.40 am, when is the latest time?
Now about the prayer itself, i understand its a minimum of 2 rakats, but are they prayed just like nafls or are u suppose to pray specific surahs?
1- Calculate total time (hours and minutes) starting from “Magrib” till starting time of “Fajr”.
2- Divide it by three.
3- You’ll get three different hours and minutes starting frist from “Magrib”, second starts after “Isha” and the third and last starts after midnight.
4- The starting time of third and last hours/minute is actully starting time of “Tahajjud” which ends before starting time of “Fajr”

**Maghrib is at 6:10 and Fajer is at 3:52.
From Maghrib to Fajer total hours are 7 hours 52 min approx.
7 hours 52 min divided by 3 is equal to 2 hours 51 approx.
So the third part of the night starts at around 12 hours 51 min approx.
