Praying is a challenge..

Re: Praying is a challenge..

same here, im so lazy these days and since its school off im extra lazy, not praying at time, putting schoolwork till next day and then next day ... im out of routine :(
this thread is helping me alot!

awwwww
dont worry so much about that, all of us who DON’T pray, after we die, will get to live some place warm, very warm. and we will smell the BBQ 24/7

Re: Praying is a challenge..

boy am I glad I ran into this thread!

Re: Praying is a challenge..

Peace All

A friend told me a riwaya that I have yet to check up that, the Sahabah used to avoid eating lamb at night due to being heavy with sleep at Fajr time.

So one practical method is to avoid heavy meals at night.

Also, another way is to take the companionship of those who pray and hence you encourage each other to pray.

No wonder the Whities took over the natives so easily....they would be pee'ing as the enemy attacked in the vee hours of the morning.

True. Some ppl have made it so difficult upon themselves to read Fajr in the dark. Fajr can be offered until the local sunrise time which during winter is well past 7 AM.

Re: Praying is a challenge..

Anytime I get lazy or get those 'kon namaz parhe' type feelings, I come to this thread, haha.. and it does the trick ;-)

Am I allowed to read them back to back?

The only time I know of when you can do this is hajj. Otherwise it's not allowed unless you're making maghrib toward the end of its time and isha when its time comes in.

Re: Praying is a challenge..

yes praying salah together is fine, but if youre not sure find out from your aalim.

i tried that ....its painful. Best way is to get up a little before fajr e.g if its at 430 , get up 4 EVERY DAY . This way it becomes a routine and it dosent bother you. Like in ramazan
Problem is when people try to get up just a few minutes before fajr azan

Re: Praying is a challenge..

A motivation is needed here than tricks, they never last long.
