i have seen many ladies pray for their husbands when they are leaving, especially for work. i never see any husband doing the same for their wives.
so wives are more worried about their husbands “salamti”, and husbands are not?

Re: Praying for spouse when they are leaving home
Maybe men are less vocal about it but in their hearts they are constantly praying for their wives and family.
Re: Praying for spouse when they are leaving home
i have seen many fathers playing soccer/football with kids and I hardly see mom doing this, does that means father loves kids more than mom? ![]()

Re: Praying for spouse when they are leaving home
No no no!!! She prays because she finally found someone to put up with her crap.
Re: Praying for spouse when they are leaving home
hahahaha...
I think in our culture women are raised to practice religion more…like you see more women in a household doing namaz and roza as compared to guys…you see moms getting after their daughters to read namaz and Quran and hardly care about what the son’s are doing…OK this may be wrong and very general and biased, but I have seen that in many families, so as a result, women seem to do more in terms of ibadat, etc. Women are also more caring by nature so they do all these little little things more…
Having said that, women after all their ibadaat, gossip more and backbite more hence losing all their credit points and balancing out with the men ![]()
I don’t know about praying or anything but my husband always say drive safe and that make me crazy. I drive better than him ![]()
Re: Praying for spouse when they are leaving home
my hubby even don like me to go out any where coz of safty issue...lol but once i go out he calls me that very moment and untill i reach home so alll the time safety safety.....
Re: Praying for spouse when they are leaving home
Hmmm....I had always seen my mom do it whenever we left the house or our father left the house for work...
I do the same...since I only have the husband for whom I can do it so yeah I pray for him whenever he leaves home...
I do the same whenever my sister is over and is leaving...I do it for myslef too whenever I go out.....it has become more of a habit or a reflex for me now....
I have never thought about it in a way to see who cares more about the other person...
Re: Praying for spouse when they are leaving home
cuz women are paranoid ![]()

Re: Praying for spouse when they are leaving home
***I don't agree.....I've seen husbands doing the same too for their wives....
In fact just the simple " Allah Hafiz" is a prayer for safety .....so u can't say men don't !
It does not have to be a long winding speech to show that you care !*** A Few words are enough !
My family is the complete opposite.
Re: Praying for spouse when they are leaving home
The gossip and backbite part or the duaein part
?
i always mumble in my sleep “I hope u have a safe/prosperous/fulfilling/painless/wonderful day.”
but that doesnt count coz its not in arabic, does it? ![]()
