I’ve posted before abt my eldest, the one who would rather starve than eat since he was an infant and he’s now almost 7 years. We’ve seen so many specialists, went to feeding therapy and every other kind of therapy you could imagine.
Well I recently took him to a doc who specializes in autism spectrum kids, thedoc ran a whole bunch of tests and found - GIARDIA!! An intestinal parasite that wreak all kinds of havoc on the GI system. We started the medication to kill the parasites today, we have to give it for 10 days…
and then MAYBE he will start to eat and gain weight like other kids!!! That would be SUCH a dream come true!!!
Please keep my “oopie-dooper” in your prayers that this is the case.
it will be okay, it was your tenacity that was able to get him the right help and treatment. god helps those who help themselves, u have done your bit well, i am sure now god will help you and your baby. you are in our thoughts and prayers.
mama...I'll keep your little one is my thoughts and prayers...inshAllah. May Allah give you, your husband and your kids the strength you need to physically, mentally and emotionally deal with this... and May your son get better soon Ameen! It must be hard seeing your son go through this but keep your head up..inshAllah he'll be better in no time.
