It is very difficult to make a Jew to love a Muslim. It has been very difficult since the first revelation . Even the Prophet(SAW) had to work hard on them and it is said that very few Jews accepted Islam.
P.S: Islam does not allow a Muslim woman to marry a Man of faith other than a Muslim though.

I don't think there is anything wrong with his idea. Islam puts lot of emphasis on taqwa and it has been mentioned in Quran numerous times.
Anyway, I don't think one sided love would really help you. Maybe you should pray for a person who loves you would care, and respect you.

You can pray and say a duaa whom you wish to marry PCG but first you have pray for him to become muslim.
