Assalamualaikum i pray for her health and long life Ameen, i would advice you keep praying two nafal and with hope the treatment will cure the disease by the rehmah of Allah subhan wa taAllah, during chemo recite darood & dua e younis as much as you can. May Allah grant good health to all patient Ameen
im.sorry to hear about your mom,.may allah make it easy on her and grant yer shifa, inshallah.
some things we.used to.do.with mil.when.she was battling cancer.and chemo:
play tilawats of surah rehman, it would calm her down.
she can recite ya rehmano ya raheemo during chemo.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet paid a visit to a sick bedouin. The Prophet when visiting a patient used to say, “No harm will befall you! May Allah cure you! May Allah cure you!” So the Prophet said to the bedouin. “No harm will befall you. May Allah cure you!” The bedouin said, “You say, may Allah cure me? No, for it is a fever which boils in (the body of) an old man, and will lead him to the grave.” The Prophet said, “Yes, then may it be as you say.”

Narrated 'Aisha: Whenever Allah’s Apostle became sick, he would recite Mu’awwidhat (Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas) and then blow his breath over his body. When he became seriously ill, I used to recite (these two Suras) and rub his hands over his body hoping for its blessings.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: If anyone visits a sick whose time (of death) has not come, and says with him seven times: I ask Allah, the Mighty, the Lord of the mighty Throne, to cure you, Allah will cure him from that disease.
