i wana raise my kids for sometime in pakistan, and i wish everything gets better b4 that (lol m not even married yet)
but i have faith in Allah, i believe we are much better than some other countries that r prospering just because of oil or some other natural resource, and insha Allah one day we will be blessed aswell :)
its my faith that if our political structure gets strong, our country is gona get strong aswell, better than india Insha Allah.
i see so many pakistani ppl getting awsome grades in universities and then getting high paid jobs here in canada, one day insha Allah they wont need to come here, they will be happier back home.
If Pakistanis behave like Afghan tribals, then prayers of jannat will not work. If we continue behaving like tribals we'll surely end up like Afghanistan or somalia regardless of how much praying goes on the gupshup forums.
Allah clearly says that He rewards good people and punishes the anarchists, biduins, and tribals.
Praying without doing the hardwork in itself is a sin or at least fruitless.

Prayers don't work nor will that help us in this case. Only thing prayer will do is save us from one calamity or the other... it won't change the very fundamental reasons why we are praying in the first place.

We've been praying since 1947 but things have gone from bad to worst. Its like if God made you dark complexion and you pray night and day to change that to lighter color... the prayer in this case would be fruitless.

I understand some people are optimistic, nothing wrong with that but optimism based on wishful thinking and a notion that OTHERS will change by themselves and I am the most perfect person who doesn't need to change is stupidity to say the least. Each Pakistani expects the OTHER to change but not himself. Its time for self reflection and observation rather than pray for something to change which is direct result of our own wrong doings.

prayers work in a mysterious way. prayers alone are inadequate, very light, not enough to achieve massive devine help.
