Practicing or Appearing?

Re: Practicing or Appearing?

@TLK

I am not talking about Jubba. I can be out there naked, and will be committing sin, but that will not make a kaafir

@STA

indeed, being nanga will not make you kaffir. I dont think muzna was discussing kafir or non kafir thingy. i think she is interested in appearance vs practice. and possible stereotypical appearance of muslims.

@TLK

So extreme of appearance cannot make you kaafir, but extreme of not practicing can - so here is muzna’s answer.

damn it, I am doomed

@STA

it is believe which makes you muslim. you are being muslim appearing muslim practicing muslim, but if that (believe) is not there. all are worthless,

on the other extreme, you are alcoholic, involved in major sins, worst person in community, but you hold believe , you are muslim.

p.s. “you” is not used for you.

@TLK

No both are not equally important. And I will answer under STA’s comment

Believe is substantiated by practice, and that is why according to some aalims, a be-namazi of 3 days is wajibul qatal as he is murtid (one who no longer believes). No aalim says that a nunga muslim is wajibul qatal. Thay is another example of practice is more important than appearance.

@TLK

agar koi hijab na kare, yaa darhee na rukhkhay tou kiya kaafir ho jaa’e gaa?

Agar koi namaaz roza chor de tou kaafir ho jaa’ye gaa?

@TLK

Chalain maaf kiya aap ko

TLK Sahab, why are you so interested in kafir/non kafir debate. OP is not asking who is who.

and you ask same question, from me and P_G.

Was there any reason of asking? I want to know.
