both are EQUALLY important…Islam is a way of life…how can you ignore one or more aspects of life one lives.

No both are not equally important. And I will answer under STA’s comment

it is believe which makes you muslim. you are being muslim appearing muslim practicing muslim, but if that (believe) is not there. all are worthless,

on the other extreme, you are alcoholic, involved in major sins, worst person in community, but you hold believe , you are muslim.

Believe is substantiated by practice, and that is why according to some aalims, a be-namazi of 3 days is wajibul qatal as he is murtid (one who no longer believes). No aalim says that a nunga muslim is wajibul qatal. Thay is another example of practice is more important than appearance.
