Reminds me of the ayat in Quran that says that Salah stops a person from obscene and wrong acts.

If someone’s salah is not stopping him or her from intoxicants, murders, stealing, rape, etc. etc., then, clearly there is something missing in salah - intension, purity, faith anything.

granted. the salah may be incomplete…but it is in fact being offered.
whether it is being accepted or not is something we will never know.
