Re: Practical driving test... 8am??
Yh i got my insurance done with my dad,** only £900** with the help of my parents living in a very low crime area and his 7years NCB
I just been driving around since thursday as much.. Tmw its my first day driving to work alone :s heathrow is alwasy crazy especially that massive confusing roundabout.
Has anyone felt that in the dark they tend to see less then in day time. I mean i feel i get dazzled and confused more at night cos of bright lights and feel more comfortable during the day?
900 pounds additional cost...right?
for night time driving, keep 7 things in mind:
tilt side-view mirrors a little away from you so you don't get the glare of the headlights directly reflected at your eyes
push the rear-view mirror tab to 'nighttime' driving position...this will deflect the reflected light from headlights away from your eyes...it will appear much softer.
don't stare at the headlights of the oncoming traffic.
keep your windshield and the rear shield clear of any dust...it causes blurry vision.
don't use high beam because it's illegal to use on busy city roads/undivided highways. use it only when there are no traffic within the range of the high beam.
use caution and beware of the nocturnal animals crossing the roads at night.
