Waheeda Shah banned for 2 years and the election results have been cancelled

Even better, the police officer who was present and did not stop her or arrest her for assault, has been suspended.

This sends an excellent message to the country’s police that they must not tolerate wrongdoing, even by politicians, else they will be punished.

Meanwhile, Irfan Shah, the DSP who was present when the shocking incident took place but did not try to stop Waheeda from the shameful act, was also suspended by the IG Sindh on Tuesday.
