Amin Fahim not acceptable, says Qazi

Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal President Qazi Hussain Ahmed said on Wednesday that Makhdoom Amin of the PPPP was not at all acceptable to the MMA for presidential election. Talking to reporters after chairing Jamaat-e-Islami’s parliamentary party meeting here, **Qazi said nomination of Amin Fahim as presidential candidate was part of the PPPP-govt understanding. **About recent statement of former premier Benazir Bhutto regarding country’s nuclear scientist AQ Khan, the MMA president said it was also a part of the American agenda being pursued by the PPPP in letter and spirit. He said the former premier should not have made such irresponsible statement before the international forum. --APP

Our Okara correspondent adds: **Talking to local newsmen by the telphone from his residence, Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab Amir Liaquat Baloch said Makhdoom Amin Fahim’s nomination in the presidential elections is part of a deal between Benazir and Musharraf to help the latter in his re-election. “The Fahim’s nomination is a pro-Musharraf policy of the PPP.”

Qazi Sahab will only accept himself as candidate any other person is not acceptable but then he cant speak it out clearly so he keep on making arguments. He is just acting like a like a Labor Certification ad (for green card) which is drafted in such a way that no other can qualify for the job but the person its given for (applicant)
