I don't get it. After reading through several responses here it looks like people are supporting PMLN and PPP based on being Punjabi or not. I think such political polarity is bad for the country, because PMLN is one of the biggest parties of Pakistan. And it is better if it remains a naitonal party instead of becoming a political one.
My opposition to PMLN is based on Nawaz's inclination toward Taliban and relgio-political parties. I think that today the gravest threat being faced by country is from Talibanization, and Nawaz is not suitable to lead the fight against them.
I kinda agree with you, supporting NS is becoming provinicially polarised whilst it should've been based on what he stands for. His acts are now getting aligned with Taliban, he himself is a closet Taliban supporter. He is inciting people towards civil disobedience and "inqilaab".
^ he was not supposed to lead the fight against taliban anyways! Did he ask for prime ministership?
He ran for elections based on a promise. So did PPP. PPP broke the promise many times and he is protesting against it. Did he ask for ministries? Presidency? Give us what we voted for, and enjoy your government. That's about it.
NS could've asked for Prime Ministership had Mushy not got him disqualified from holding public office in first place. Zardari is playing cunning politics with him, he first played Mushy now playing Nawaz Sharif the same way. How can you fall for a promise of a criminal?
