Once Hazrat Umar (ra) swore allegiance to the Prophet (saw), he did not keep switching sides. Don't compare him with Pakistani politicians.
Who says its about switching sides? And even if it is, did PPP switch sides and become right of the center overnight? Did PML-N leave its rightist leanings for an alliance with PPP?
