ANP+MQM+PPP failed to stop terrorism atleast they fought bravely. Imran has already sold our country to these extremist by surrendering infront of them. I remember one interview where imran said that he can't condemn taliban's barbaric attacks cause if he does they will start attacking his party. This is a phattu coward leader. Nobody denied his services in shaukat khanum but that was a hospital this is a country where the barbarians are killing us mercilessly in the name of religion and he wants us to accept their barbaric laws and accept their version of islam that they preach.

Why don't you just find a news piece from mainstream media that quotes him directly supporting terrorism? It should be very easy, if this is such common knowledge among people, there should be a source that these revelations are coming from.

It's take time but the cancer of Pakistan taliban and it's supporter atleast in Karachi will finish like in past JI goons vanished. The good thing is that ANP and MQM get more closer against terrorists aka Taliban. Karachi is in under election process now, I'm sure after election clean up may start under local govt.

plus There are many blasts in peshawar & KPK on frequent basis. Why is that its only MQM that closes down Karachi? Marking down its territory perhaps?

to me this is nothing more than a smoke screen by the three parties... this time they do not have anything worth mentioning and they are running their election campaign on expense of innocent lives and media coverage that these blasts attract as a result.
as quick fact check, couple of months ago there was a general consensus on this forum and country alike, that these parties are the responsible for the killings in karachi, THEY ARE THE TERRORISTS THEMSELVES, and now how easily they are trying to avert this opinion on expense of innocent citizens. and yeah getting rid of rogue and not-so-faith-full elements of party, once in a while here and there, is a bonus...
probably PPP and ANP are so impressed with MQM's tactics of playing victim card, that this time they decided to play along, no need to give "Big Qurbani" in return of govt as last election... if nothing else, at least these blasts will give them some face saving in post-election reviews and reports.
and at the end, its MQM+PPP who jointly made this caretaker in sindh, if you give them benefit of doubt which they don't deserve, still its them who are responsible for making the non-functional caretaker govt, all fingers pointing to the trio

It's a reality that taleban have made inroads into karachi which is increasing the chaos and terrorism in the city. Another reality is that taleban took over when the three parties making noises now were ruling.
Something should be done about it, no doubt about it. How many karachiites would support a military operation in karachi to curb this menace?
