Re: PPP most popular party: poll
There is no possibility of PPP/PML N coalition...because as long as illegal president is there...Nawaz League can never be a part of the government...Mr. Zardari wants to be in the government at any cost for obvious reasons...he is just playing games with N league..
If he gets out right majority...it will be ok for him but a scenario not acceptable to the illegal president (highly unlikely scenario)...the grand plan in my opinion this time is to ditch Q league....give enough seats to PPP so that they can make the government without Q league....but not enough that they would be able to make government without MQM....
Your comment about PPP not wanting to form a govt with PML (N) could well be right. However, from what I can see, if PPP wants to form a govt without PML (Q), then they really would need suppport of PML (N) due to the way seats will be split between the major parties. I agree with the point that MQM will play a major part in the formation of the govt.
However, if PML (N) is in govt with PPP and other coalition partners, PPP will ditch PML (N) as in reality (as you suggested) PML (N) and PPP are not natural allies. This will be a marriage of convenience, and other partners will come to the front. That is my main worry. Whoever comes to power really needs to have the stability to run the govt for the next five years, not chop and change.
